Accelerator Cables for Scout II.
There are two types -
Type A: Socket on Cable,
ball stud on accelerator pedal arm.
Type B: Lead sinker
on cable, nylon bushing on accelerator pedal.
You also have LHD which means Left
Hand Drive and RHD which means Right Hand Drive.
You also have three things to note -
Note #1
'71-'74 4-196, 6-232, 258 engines RHD: Original cable is no longer available. Order 440984C1 with 440992C1 bushing. Drill 3/8" hole in face of accelerator pedal to accept bushing.
Note #2
'71-'72 v8 304,345 engines RHD: Original cable is no longer available. Order 440985C1, with 440992C1 bushing. Drill 3/8" hole in face of accelerator pedal to accept bushing.
Note #3
'79-'80 v8 304,345 engines RHD: Original cable is no longer available. Order 440985C1, you will have to modifiy the method of attaching cable at Carburator bracket.
