Scout II Liftgate Strut Kit

These replacement gas struts for the rear liftgate on your 72'-80' Scout II are a direct bolt on with no required modifications. Simply unbolt the existing mechanical liftgate struts and bolt in these custom gas hydraulic struts. Makes opening and closing of your liftgate a breeze. Helps reduce rattles as well. Installs in under 15 minutes. One of the best upgrades you can make to your Scout II. Not for Scout Traveler.

Modern Convenience in 10 minutes

Overall Impression: Sturdy product and like the modern convenience. Took no time to complete. Would definitely recommend Install: Took a 9/16 socket, phillips head screwdriver, and a 1/2 wrench for the entire removal and install.
